3 - How to choose a toaster
Over the years, toasters have appeared on the market in all shapes and sizes but without doubt the first thing to consider is the size and weight.
The size: since we tend to use the toaster to make breakfast for the whole family every morning, we will probably want it to always be available, on display on the kitchen counter, ready to use. It is important to consider the size of the machine, especially if you already have other appliances.
If, however, we only expect to use the toaster occasionally and want to be able to put it away each time, then we should properly choose something lightweight, which is easy to lift and small in size. The weight can be a factor in our choice.
If two products are the same size, another feature to take into account is the number of slices of bread that can be toasted at the same time. The majority of toasters take two slices but, as we have already seen, if we want to toast bread for the whole family, we need a 3- or 4-slice toaster.

5 – LAICA ISEO HI1000, the essential toaster
The LAICA ISEO HI1000 is a digital 2-slice toaster which is quick, practical and essential for every kitchen.
Weighing just over 1 kg, it is very lightweight and also compact in size, measuring 15 cm x 26.5 cm x 23.5 cm. It fits easily into a drawer or can be moved around the kitchen, or just left on display with its stylish chrome trim which makes it a real design project (available in two colours, black or white).
It has an LED display showing the toasting mode, the browning setting and the countdown timer. There are six browning levels which are easy to set using the dial.
